About Me

Hello, I’m Dr. Mitchell Bell (you can call me Mitch or Mitchell) and I’m thrilled to welcome you to our website. As the founder of Evenside Bookkeeping, I bring over a decade of experience as an Associate Optometrist in both private and commercial settings. During this time, I managed my own books and worked with various bookkeepers – many of whom had no formal training. I was frustrated with the frequency of errors that needed to be corrected at the end of each pay period. It was clear to me that there was a real need for reliable and professional bookkeeping services in the medical industry, which is why I started Evenside Bookkeeping.

I’m a firm believer in having fun and building strong relationships with my clients. When I’m not busy managing my clients’ books, I enjoy spending time with my spirited eight-year-old daughter, as well as with my wife of fifteen years, who is not only my high-school sweetheart but also my biggest cheerleader. I try to get out fishing as much as I can during the summer and I recently joined the pickleball craze! I play several instruments and while you won’t find me on the golf course, I’m always up for a good jam session!
